Weekly After-School MTB Sessions are designed to build confidence, develop bike-handling skills across all terrain, and keep kids active in a fun, supportive environment.
The Kids MTB Academy curriculum focuses on building foundational skills before advancing to more technical manoeuvres, catering to riders of all levels, including beginner, intermediate, advanced and competitive riders. Controlled progression is key to emphasise learning skills in the correct order to ensure safety and prevent bad habits.

Curriculum:
Bike/Equipment: Beginner and Intermediate riders must have a working and well-maintained bike (any bike, does not need to be expensive or high end). Advanced riders must have a working and well-maintained mountain bike (full suspension or hardtail). The Head Coach will assess each bike prior to riders participating in their first session to ensure it is mechanically sound.
All riders must know how to ride a bike and it is preferable to already have some off-road riding experience. *For kids unable to afford a bike or don’t have one, talk to us, we have a limited number of bikes which can be loaned out for the term.
Riders must wear comfortable, not baggy clothing, with proper footwear (if you do not have mountain bike shoes, sneakers are fine). An Australian approved helmet with the certification sticker must be worn. Gloves, sunscreen, (sunglasses are optional, however recommended on high glare days). Medical devices if required/prescribed.
Class options: beginner/intermediate riders are welcome, and stronger riders may be recommended for the advanced class. We will add additional sessions each week depending on interest and response.
School holiday MTB clinics: half-day and one‑day MTB clinics packed with skills training and the chance to meet other young riders. The next skills sessions will be scheduled over the NSW term 3 school holidays.
Active Kids Vouchers - we are currently registering with the NSW Government to accept Active Kids Vouchers. We will make an announcement once we have confirmation.
